Due to a change in the Jr. High schedule, the Blue and White game will be rescheduled for this Friday at 4:00.
As of November 4, 2021, the Bald Knob School District has reached five or more positive COVID-19 cases in a school. These positive cases have resulted in a mandatory mask mandate in effect starting tomorrow, November 5th, and will remain in effect through Thursday, November 11th at which point we will reevaluate and post an update. Once all close contacts have been notified, more information will be shared regarding the number of positive cases identified today and the subsequent number of quarantines.
The Bald Knob School District has 1 new positive COVID-19 case at H. L. Lubker Elementary. The positive case resulted in 7 students and no staff being quarantined for the amount of days necessitated per ADH directive. Parents of the students who are considered close contacts have been notified.
Due to HIPPA, no identifying information can be shared.
Students that ride bus #5 and get off at Anderson Road will be dropped off this afternoon and picked up tomorrow morning on the Russell end due to a highline power wire in the road.

At tonight's regular school board meeting, the Bald Knob School Board voted to suspend the mask mandate. Though masks are not required, masks are highly recommended. The requirement to wear masks will be monitored every day through the review of the number of positive cases within a school in the district and the number of positive cases within our community as reflected in weekly ACHI data. More information will be forth coming.

Two BKMS students tested positive for COVID-19. This resulted in 10 students being quarantined. Without the mask mandate, 17 additional students would have been quarantined. Parents of students who are considered close contacts have been notified.
If you would like for your student to get a flu vaccine at school on Friday, October 1st. Forms are due first thing tomorrow morning. If they did not bring a form home, each office has extra copies.
The Report to the Public meeting is tonight at 6:00 in the MS/HS cafeteria.
Our annual flu vaccine clinic is scheduled for Friday, October 1st. Packets are being sent home today. If you want your child to participate, this needs to be filled out completely and returned by Wednesday, September 29th.
