The high school’s local chapter of FBLA spent the day with other schools at the District V Fall Conference in Russelville.



From a late Friday night to opposite corners of the state, the Bald Knob High School band and cheerleaders are representing the blue and white at collegiate stadiums this evening. The band is participating in Arkansas State University's Band Day in Jonesboro. The cheerleaders, both high school and junior high, will be calling the Hogs alongside 70,000 Razorback fans at the University of Arkansas's game in Fayetteville. #IAMBKS

Homecoming week is just a few days away. Be sure to plan ahead and show off your Disney spirit over the course of the week.


The school's annual Report to the Community will be held on Monday, September 23. Southern Bank will be serving hot dogs, chips, and water at 5:30 p.m. with the school’s report to the public beginning at 6:00 p.m.


Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, September 16 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. School will dismiss at the regular time. We hope to see you there.


Junior & Senior Students and Parents,
We invite you to join us tomorrow, September 10, for junior and senior class meetings. The juniors will meet at 6:00 p.m. while the senior meeting (financial aid) will follow at 7:00 p.m. Both will be held in the cafeteria. We hope you can attend.


The Bald Knob Middle School library will host a book fair September 13-20.

This is an informational message from Bald Knob Schools. As you may be aware, there was a shooting today in the area of Kensett this morning. We have been in regular contact with the Bald Knob Police Department. Based on information provided by the Bald Knob Police Department, the suspects are not believed to be in our area. There is no known risk to our students at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation.
Clarification: The shooting did not take place at a school and there is no known threat to any school at this time.

The Bulldogs fell 55-20 in its opening game of the season, ending a three-year win streak against county foe, Harding Academy. The Dogs will look to bounce back next Friday at home vs. Valley View. Win, lose, or draw, we are always proud to be a Bulldog.

The Arkansas State Police has been in close contact in recent days with the Federal Bureau of Investigation attemping to identify the source of an alleged threat of gun violence at an undisclosed Arkansas school reportedly planned for later this week.
At this time no corroborating evidence or useful details have been uncovered in regard to the information provided to the FBI.
In the event more specific or credible information is received; it will be shared with local law enforcement offices, state and local school officials, as well as Arkansas citizens.
The Arkansas State Police asks that if anyone has information about a threat of violence whether the site of the threat may be a school or other public place, please contact your nearest Arkansas State Police Office or local law enforcement agency. The Studio will have registration for fall classes this Sunday from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at The Studio. The Studio is located in the Community of Christ Church on Hickory Street across from the Bald Knob Early Childhood Center. All students in grades 3-12 are welcome.

Thank you to the Arkansas Army National Guard, including SSG Christopher Bell and SFC Jeremiah Gossett, for providing lunch for our high school staff on the first day of school.

On Monday, the Bulldog Cross Country program was chosen as one of the 25 nation-wide recipients of the 2019 BrooksRunning.com Booster Club award. The scholarship award includes a $2,000.00 check to the program and $12,400.00 retail in Brooks gear for athletic running gear.
