Today, we remember the devastating events of September 11, 2001 in our country. On that day, we lost so much, including one of our own. Bald Knob Public Schools Class of 1982 Graduate Malissa White was inside one of the twin towers in New York City when they collapsed. We remember her, her family and friends, and the sacrifices so many made that historic day.

This is available for any type of incident where life or property could be saved, where hazards to a scene and responders can be mitigated, where multiple replicated 911 calls causing congestion can be avoided, and much, much more. This is for ALL of White County, meaning it serves for every city as well as the rural areas and all districts.

September is Attendance Awareness Month! 📣 Each day in the classroom counts, and we want to empower our students to make the most of their educational journey! 🏆
Today is National Read a Book Day, a day which invites us ALL to grab a book we might enjoy and spend the day reading. But don’t just read to yourself. Share the experience! Read aloud either to children or to grandparents. Read to your pets or to your stuffed animals and plants. Reading improves memory and concentration as well as reduces stress. Older adults who spend time reading show a slower cognitive decline and tend to participate in more mentally stimulating activities over their lifetime. Books are an inexpensive entertainment, educational tool, and time machine too! #ReadABookDay
