8th grader Owen Shafer bolted out of the chute and never looked back. Shafer earned runner-up individual honors and paced the Junior Bulldogs to a top-ten finish at the Bald Knob Cross Country Invitational Meet. Freshman teammate Samuel Smithson placed 20th in the Junior Boys division. Led by three top-30 individual runners, freshman Taylin Green (18), 7th grader Ciarra Harris (25), and freshman Hallie Sterling (26), the Junior Lady Bulldogs scored a 7th place finish. The 8th place Senior Lady Bulldogs were led by Sylvia Diez, 11th place, and sophomore Mya Ragsdale, 29th place. Sophomore Braden Davis's 13th place finish led the senior boys. The meet included runners from over forty schools of all sizes across Arkansas.
