Band, Cheer, Football Represents at White County Grill Fest

Aug 26, 2017 High School

While the first official game is not until September 1, Bald Knob High School students offered its fans a glimpse of what is to come as the students donned their uniforms and represented the school at the White County Ultimate Tailgate and Grill-Fest.

The event brought together institutions from all over White County and dueled as a fundraiser to benefit Jacob's Place in Searcy. Each school held the stage for 10 minutes under the emcee direction of KATV sportscaster Steve Sullivan. The Bulldog band, cheerleaders, and football team wowed the crowd and earned praise by the ever-enthusiastic Sullivan for their performance. The Bulldogs are scheduled to take the field on Friday. In 2016, the team amassed a phenomenal season, finishing the regular season with a 10-0 record, securing the school's first conference championship since 2009, and advancing to the round of 16 in the State Playoffs. We are looking forward to another banner season.
